Testing times ahead, how to fit all of the gear and the kids into a car that is a few feet smaller than the last one. We are off to Cumbria, not camping this time as i seriously didnt think an 8 man tent and all of the kit would fit, so we are staying in a static caravan at Wild Rose in Appleby. Still, we had roof bars fitted (£160) and put on our roof bag, chucked a few back packs, coats, boots, into the boot and off we went. It was a journey of just over 2 hrs and it was a doddle!
